FAQ

The tours will be limited to a small group of people (five plus two tour guides) starting in Sarria and ending in Santiago. For the “Walking Easy” trip, we will be walking 3-6 miles per day. For the “Camino Classic,” we will be walking 7-10 miles per day. Both will be on the Camino Frances, the traditional route most pilgrims take for the Camino.

The Camino is a very exciting journey. It’s comforting knowing that you have guides available to support you. We will help ease the transition of being in a new country and be on hand to answer questions and concerns. We also have mapped out each day for you, finding lovely accommodations where our group can relax at the end of each day.

The tour is an easy tour with fairly flat terrain. You can walk as much or as little as you would like. We will have a support vehicle that can pick you up to shorten your day, if desired. Also, we will carry your luggage from location to location, so all you will need to carry is a small day pack.  To physically prepare, we recommend that you slowly build up your walking distance here at home. We will be sharing tips on how to prepare for the Camino about 90 days before the trip begins.

We have designed the tour for anyone seeking to deepen their Camino experience and also to make the Camino accessible for people who are seeking additional guidance and support. If you are experiencing a transition, or seeking your life’s purpose, or perhaps grieving a loss, this Camino is tailored for you. We will help you get in touch with your heart and soul to find a sense of peace, calm, healing, and clarity.

We will have two guides to support you through your journey. Each person walks at their own pace, and a guide will meeting with you at checkpoints throughout the day. If you would like a guide to walk with you, we are happy to do that with you!

Each day, you will have options to find lunch (which is not included in the tour cost) along the way. Usually, people have lunch at the end of that day’s stage.

We will be limiting this tour to five participants and there will be two guides. This is a nice group size for the reflection and meditation time we will be offering during the tour.

Carol and Anne are very excited to share this Camino experience with you. Carol has hiked portions of the Camino de Santiago in Spain, Portugal, and France since 2015.
