Welcome to my site. I walked a portion of the Camino in 2011 and have been enamored ever since. Now, I’m heading back there and this time, I will have a spiritual journal with me. My very own, that I’m in the process of creating as we “speak.”
For my first Camino, I was rushed and had difficulty finding resources. I didn’t have time to buy and read a bunch of books, I just needed something that I could quickly access, print out, and bring with me. My life was so busy that I had difficulty even finding time to order our maps, and in fact, they didn’t arrive in time. Read more
Embracing Balance and Self-Compassion in Training
I find myself in a familiar scenario – the time I set aside for training is here, but my training plan sits ignored. Isn’t this the essence of existence? The pursuit of readiness for the impending, coupled with the human propensity to falter in execution.

Embarking on a New Camino Adventure: Sarria to Santiago
We’re super stoked about our upcoming Camino adventure! We’re planning on walking from Sarria to Santiago, which is about 110 kilometers of pure awesomeness. The best part? We’ll be offering not one, but two guides to show you the way, a support vehicle to take care of all our needs, and a flexible itinerary that allows us to take in all the sights and sounds along the way. Portuguese Camino
Today, August 27, 2014, I’m riding the express bus from Lisbon to Porto, our Camino starting point. It’s quite a bit warmer than I expected and I’ll be looking forward to cooler weather as the Camino progresses.
Many people sent prayer requests and I plan on focusing on a few each day of the Camino. In addition, I’m reading my spiritual guide as preparation. But our plan is to first take in Porto and the sites there, much as medieval pilgrims would have done.
Boa Camino!
